The Coming Generation Prov. 30:11-17 CLICK TITLE FOR AUDIO

Solomon describes the coming generation in Prov 30:11-17.  This is the generation of the antichrist.  Solomon spells out their identifying characteristics in detail. They will:

Curse their parents – Prov 30:11 – see Matt 15:4; 1 Tim 1:9; Is 3:12.

Reject the blood of Christ – Prov 30:12 – see Heb 9:14, 1 Jn 1:7 – they refuse Jesus like the Pharisees did because they are pure in their own eyes.  Yet they are not washed from their filthiness.

Exalt themselves – Prov 30:13 – see 2 Tim 3:2-5 – The Bible tells us that he that exalteth himself shall be abased.

Eat people as cannibals – Prov 30:14 – see Ps 14:4; Mic 3:3.

Drink blood as a sacrifice – Prov 30:15 a horseleech is a bloodsucking worm.  So these are blood suckers – see Rev 17:6; 18:24.

See four things they have never seen before – Prov 30:16

• Graves – People dying and being buried by the billions (with room to spare) – see Ezek 39:11-15 – in Rev 6:8 one-fourth of the world’s population is killed and in Rev 9:15 another third of the remaining population is killed – together these equal half of the world’s population.
• Barren wombs – women who are not mothers because there are not enough men to father their children – see Is 4:1; Lev 26:26.
• Earth filled with water – the earth swallows a flood in the Tribulation to spare some Jews – see Rev 12:16.
• Fire – there will be world wide destruction by fire at the Second Coming of Jesus – see Joel 2:3; Rev 8:7

Be devoured by ravens and eagles – Prov 30:17 – see Rev 19:17-18.
