Dealing with temptation – what the Lord does.  The Lord does not expect you to battle temptations by yourself.  So, he is present in the fight to keep you from sin if you will look to him to help you.  Notice:

He knows what it feels like.  Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the ____________ of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted ________ as we are, yet ____________ sin.

He is there to help.  Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath _____________ being tempted, he is able to _____________ them that are tempted.  This word means “to give assistance to in time of need or distress; to help.”

He has given you his __________.  Gal 5:16 Walk in the ___________, and ye shall _____ fulfill the lust of the flesh

He arms you with his _________ and his __________. Eph 6:10-11 [to v.18] Finally, my brethren, be __________ in the Lord, and in the power of his _____________.  Put on the whole _________  ___  _______, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  See also Jas 4:7 and 1 Pet 5:6-10, where you must humble yourself to God when you resist the devil.
