These are very sketchy notes on a friend loveth at all times.  This sermon urges you to receive Jesus Christ, the greatest friend you will ever have, and to be the friend to others that Jesus is to you.  The companion text is Prov 17:17.

A good friend will:

Care for you – 1 Pet 5:7

Do things for you – Jn 15:13

Tell you off – Prov 27:5

Conclusion: If you’re lost, receive what your friend, Jesus, did for you on Calvary [Jn 1:12, Rom 5:8-9] and if you’re saved, be a friend like Jesus.
