There are several references in the New Testament to the riches of God.  The riches of God include:

The riches of his goodness – Rom 2:4 – it is through his goodness that God leads us to repentance – God rains on the just and the unjust – “he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things,” [Acts 17:25] – his Son died for the sins of the whole world [1 Jn 2:2].

The riches of his forbearance – Rom 2:4 – God withholds the execution of his sentence [Ecc 8:11] – if the Lord were to have punished us for every sin we have committed when we committed it, most of us would be dead by now.

The riches of his longsuffering – Rom 2:4 – he is not willing that any should perish [2 Pet 3:9] – God often puts up with our sin for a long time until we finally come around to salvation or to holiness – God is longsuffering with our loved ones for whom we are praying who are still not saved.

The riches of his glory – Rom 9:23 – in his mercy on the vessels of mercy – God spared Israel when he destroyed Egypt, for instance, and he spared Nineveh when Jonah preached that God was ready to overthrow them in 40 days – Eph 1:18 – in his inheritance given to the saints – in addition to giving us eternal life, God in his glory gives us an inheritance to boot – in other words, we partake of his glory [New Jerusalem, crowns, glorified body like the Lord’s, etc.] – Eph 3:16 – in his strengthening of the inner man with might by his Spirit – we are partakers of his divine nature [2 Pet 1:4]

The riches of his grace – Eph 1:7 – in the forgiveness of our sins – our sins were against God [Ps 51:4] and yet he forgave us completely – Eph 2:7 – in his kindness toward us – he is kind even unto the unthankful and the evil [Lk 6:35].

The riches of his mercy – Eph 2:4 – the greatest testimony to the riches of his mercy is the salvation of our souls [Eph 2:8-9].

Conclusion: If you will trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you will get in not only on the riches of his goodness, forbearance and longsuffering, which you have already enjoyed, but also on the riches of his glory, grace and mercy which you will be able to enjoy for eternity.
