years ago as
an
independent
Baptist
Church with
the desire
to be:
A Bible-believing, Bible-preaching,
Bible-teaching
church.
We’ve seen
an increased
ignorance of
the words of
God among
God’s people
and we
decided to
make sure
people would
get sound
doctrine
here.
A church where lost sinners can hear
the true,
uncompromised
gospel of
the Lord
Jesus Christ
and be
saved. In
many
churches
today, the
gospel has
been mixed
with
worldliness
and false
doctrine so
that many
who profess
faith in
Jesus Christ
aren’t
getting
saved.
A church which believes in worshipping
the Lord
with
congregational
singing and
hymns. Yes,
we still
sing out of
the
hymnbook,
just like
your
grandmother
did. We
believe that
rock and
roll
concerts
belong in
community
centers and
not in the
church.
A family church. We have not abandoned
the Sunday
school. We
have many
volunteers
helping
parents to
train their
children.
And we have
ministries
for youth
and young
adults, as
well.
A missions supporting church. We
prayerfully
and
financially
support
missionaries
in the
United
States and
worldwide.
A praying church. Unlike so many
churches
today, we
still have
Wednesday
night prayer
meeting.
A church who
desires,
primarily,
to glorify
God [Eph
3:21]. We
hope that
