We are a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, Bible-teaching church. We make sure people get sound doctrine here.  It may not seem so important to modern Christians to spend time in the Bible, but it is very important to the Lord and it is the only way you are going to grow in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We believe and preach the King James Bible.  With the Holy Spirit as the author and teacher, it’s not hard to understand.

The world needs to hear the true, uncompromised gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Today the gospel has been so watered down that it is hard to tell whether folks are truly getting saved.  We want folks to get saved and know they’re saved.  The only way to do that is to preach the gospel in such a way that the Holy Spirit can reprove them so they will see their need of Jesus Christ and be born again when they receive Jesus as their Saviour.

We have not abandoned the Sunday school.  Our Sunday school teachers are well trained to teach children the Bible and Bible songs.  They don’t minister between parents and children.  Rather they minister to help parents train up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  In addition to children’s classes, we have teen, college and career and adult Sunday school classes.  This way the whole family learns the Bible together.

We still sing hymns out of the hymnbook.  If you compare the words, the music and the harmony of the hymns to modern praise and worship music you will see immediately why we have not changed.  There is as much scriptural truth in each hymn as there is in a sermon.  With hymns we truly fulfill the admonitions of Eph 5:18-20 and Col 3:16.  Listen to some of the hymn histories on this site and you will learn why the hymn writers wrote the songs they did.

We still have Wednesday night prayer meetings.  Many churches have cancelled the mid-week service.  This trend has weakened the churches spiritually.  They have grown in numbers at the cost of declining in spiritual power.  The old saying is, “The family that prays together, stays together.”  The same is true of churches.  On Wednesday nights, we sing and preach and pray for each others’ needs and for the requests of our...

We prayerfully and financially support missionaries in the United States and around the world.  We have done so throughout the entire history of our church.  We have our annual missions conference in February and this is one of the best special meetings of the year.  We love to meet and hear from missionary families since it is always a joy to see what God is doing in other parts of the world.

Our primary desire is to glorify God [Eph 3:21].  We’re not here to make a name for ourselves [Ps 115:1].  We humbly pray that the Lord will allow us to accomplish this desire and that it will be evident to you when you visit.  Prayerfully consider the Lord’s direction in your life and if he leads you our way, we’re looking forward to meeting you personally.
